I Hate It When Good Writers Say This Line
Writer’s block is real. But it’s easier to overcome than you think.
I once heard a popular writer say that writer's block isn't real.
… Which is a bit like an athlete saying that being fat is not real—a complete lack of empathy (which I love to see from my competition).
Let me give you my take.
I've spoken with hundreds of clients who struggle with what to write.
And these are smart people with knowledge to share.
They're excited to create. But when they try, nothing comes out. Instead of ideas flowing from their fingertips, it's frustration pouring from their ears.
The problem is always the same:
Overthinking.
Content can feel like an impossible wall to climb, especially at the start.
You see popular accounts with crisp, concise messages and wonder how you'll compete.
Perhaps you don't think you're qualified to talk about a topic…
(newsflash: you don't need to be. Energy is more important than expertise).
Or you feel stupid putting yourself out there.
So you write nothing.
But here's the paradox:
The more you write, the easier it gets. As with anything worthwhile, action must come first. This is why you must stop focusing on the outcome. At least initially. Because expectations create problems.
Instead, see writing as a mirror of your life.
Enjoy it.
Everything you:
- Do
- Learn
- Observe
Is material.
Take this approach, and you'll soon attract a group of like-minded people. And you'll realize you have buckets of ideas (the next problem is finding the time to explore them all).
Before you know it, writing doesn't fill you with dread; it fills you with joy.
It's one reason I built High Impact Writing.
I spent thousands of hours studying copywriting and storytelling to improve how I reached my audience. Then I systematized my approach so I could spend less time thinking and more time writing.
Gratefully, over 2,200 students have picked up the product.
I also built the Viral Inspiration Lab. When I see a good social media post, I save it. I've collected over 4,000 examples. This resource has become perfect for conquering Writer's Block.
Writer's block is real.
But it's just a symptom of fear. And fear is the enemy of freedom.
Enjoy the process.

I'll then show you how to package your ideas so you pull them into your world.
I guarantee that if you have writer's block now, you won't after taking the course. Which will only take you a couple of evenings and several cups of tea to consume.
