An Experiment I’m Running in 2025

    Smaller offers, more frequent

    By Kieran Drew

I made my first dollar online on the 31st of March 2022.

    I’ve since grossed $1,173,000 (at 82% margins).

And I want to explain an experiment I’m running in 2025.

    But first, I’ll be honest:

I’m proud of my results but it’s been chaos. Especially as a ‘solopreneur’. My revenue chart looks like a city skyline. I rely on a few big skyscrapers—the launch model.

Launches are great for revenue, but ask any entrepreneur who runs big ones:

    They are exhausting.

    • You spend months building tension
    • You have a huge burst of customers coming in
    • You push yourself to ‘burn out’ territory—not great for consistency

My goal in 2025 is to ‘iron out the peaks’ of my revenue.

Now, one of my personal rules is to never set money targets. Because money is not the point of life but a tool to live it well. Life is made for more than chasing a number on a screen.

Instead, I focus on output, not outcome.

And I make sure my goals improve my skills. Revenue should be a by-product of your reputation.

So this year, I’m running 1-2 smaller launches per month. With much tighter timeframes.

    This forces me to:

    • Write 2-3x the number emails (one constraint I set is every email must have a story—which is good fun for improving as a storyteller)
    • Get creative with my offers (repurposing and repackaging assets I’ve built)
    • Launch new offers (got some great ideas cooking)
    • Get better at copywriting (I’ve written 5 sales pages in 4 years. Sales page copy is fascinating and frustrating. By the end of 2025 I’d love to double that number.)

How’s it been going so far?

Well, I launched 6x in two months.

    1. An affiliating launch for Copyhour
    2. A 1-1 mentorship (no emails required—people reached out)
    3. A group coaching program
    4. A bundle deal to celebrate 250k followers
    5. A bundle deal to reward people who finished my 30 day content challenge / celebrate 3 years since monetizing (another offer coming soon)
    6. Promoted my private newsletter, the Magnetic Content Masterclass

    2025’s revenue so far:

    • January: $47,500
    • February: $38,200

Usually a ‘normal’ month would be around $10-15k.

I’m excited to see how this goes.

    I had two reservations:

    1. Worrying about over-promotion

I don't like to promote too much.

But I'm committed to making sure every email is valuable regardless of if you buy or not. I also added an opt-out for each launch to minimise unsubscribes.

    1. Too much time and energy

At the moment, I’m writing a book, running the 1-1 mentorship and group coaching cohort, writing my paid newsletter, sending 2-3 emails per week, and creating content for 4 social media platforms.

I’m also about to start building my next course, Productize Your Knowledge (launching in June—you can hop on the waitlist here). After, I’ll be starting on YouTube.

    …Whilst being a digital nomad.

So my next report will be on my rapidly receding hairline.

Just kidding. I hope. Instead, I’m building SOPs and systems for every step of the business. The increase in output is a big stress test to see if my processes are effective.

    They’re already 10x smoother.

With enough Yorkshire Tea, anything is possible.

    Looking forward to sharing more,

    Kieran
